The Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling plays a leading role in the ever-changing health care environment through dialogue with the public, the legislature, academia, and the community.

The Board consists of nine members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. Two members are licensed clinical social workers, two members are licensed marriage and family therapists, two members are licensed mental health counselors and three members are laypersons. Despite the expiration of their term, Board members continue to serve until they have been replaced.
